Description

Coal of Africa Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of metallurgical and thermal coal projects in South Africa. The company’s principal projects include the Makhado hard coking and thermal coal project located to the southwest of Musina in Limpopo Province; and the Vele Colliery semi soft coking and thermal coal mine located to the west of Musina, Limpopo Province. Its principal projects also include four exploration and development stage coking and thermal coal projects, such as Chapudi, Generaal, Mopane, and Telema and Gray in the Soutpansberg Coalfield. The company was formerly known as GVM Metals Limited and changed its name to Coal of Africa Limited. Coal of Africa Limited is based in Perth, Australia.
