September CPI, Delta earnings, Tesla Robotaxi Day: 3 Things
September's Consumer Price Index (CPI) came out hotter than expected with prices rising 0.2% month-over-month and 2.4% year-over-year, both above economists' estimates. Delta Air Lines (DAL) is out with its third quarter earnings, its profits of $1.50 per share an $14.59 billion in revenue falling short of Wall Street estimates. Delta CEO Ed Bastian cited the CrowdStrike (CRWD) IT outage that impacted global operations in an interview with Yahoo Finance.
