Charter Communications stock fell on Friday, after the cable giant’s earnings missed analysts estimates’ and it posted close to no revenue growth in the first quarter. Early Friday morning, Charter, which offers pay TV services and Spectrum Internet, reported $7.55 a share in adjusted earnings, below the consensus estimate of $7.86 among analysts polled by FactSet.
While the top- and bottom-line numbers for Charter (CHTR) give a sense of how the business performed in the quarter ended March 2024, it could be worth looking at how some of its key metrics compare to Wall Street estimates and year-ago values.
Charter's (CHTR) first-quarter 2024 results reflect continued growth in Internet sales and residential mobile service revenues.
