At this time, I'd like to welcome everyone to the America Movil First Quarter 2021 Conference Call and Webcast. Now, I'll turn the call over to Ms. Daniela Lecuona, Head of Investor Relations. With me today to discuss our first quarter financial and operating results, we have on the line Mr. Daniel Hajj, CEO; Mr. Carlos Garcia Moreno, CFO; and Mr. Oscar Von Hauske, COO.
América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. ("AMX") [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX | AMOV], announced today that it filed its annual report on Form 20-F on April 28, 2021 for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2020 (the "2020 Annual Report"), with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), and a translation into Spanish of the 2020 Annual Report (the "Informe Anual CNBV"), with the Mexican Banking and Securities Commission (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores, "CNBV"), and the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, S.A.B. de C.V., "BMV").
Despite accretive subscriber base, sluggish economic activity in Latin American countries along with lower service and equipment revenues hurt America Movil's (AMX) first-quarter results.
