Sanyo Trading Co., Ltd., through its subsidiaries, engages in the rubber, chemical, green technology, industrial products, and life science businesses in Japan and internationally. The company provides various rubbers, such as thermoplastic elastomers and resins, flame retardants, rubber reinforcement and fillers, specialty rubber chemicals, other rubber materials and machinery, as well as synthetic and silicon rubbers for use in rubber products, automotive parts and tires, industrial materials, and home appliances. It also offers chemicals, such as waxes and environmentally friendly waxes, silane coupling agents, specialty methacrylates, environmentally friendly TMP and pentaerythritol, photoinitiators, UV absorbers/photostabilizers, antioxidants, flame retardants, urethane/epoxy curing agents, carbodiimide and related products, plasticizers, HOT SBR, NBR latex, resins, pigments, extender pigments, and defoaming and dispersing agents for use in paints, inks, adhesives, coatings, resins, plastics, electrical materials, etc. In addition, the company sells seat heaters, seat ventilation systems, ECUs, lumbar support systems, sensors, suspension mats, seat adjuster motors, latch release actuators, gas springs, automotive benchmarking, vital sensing sensors, etc. for automobiles and its parts; and powders and biomass related equipment for feed and fertilizer, food and industrial products, local governments, forestry cooperatives, and power producers. Further, it provides life science related materials, sustainable materials, and advanced technology related materials for cosmetics, hygiene materials, detergents/cleaners, food, electronic substrates/semiconductors, displays, batteries, agriculture, oil drilling, nuclear power, and industrial rubber fields; and scientific instruments for research and development, and quality control in private companies, government agency, and universities.
