Top 20 toys for the holidays, according to Walmart

This week, Walmart Canada released its annual roundup of the toys that will be topping everyone’s wishlist this winter.

More than 600 Canadian families helped test the 135 toys that will be released this season and rated them based on educational value, age appropriateness, ease of use, child’s reaction to the toy and, most importantly, if the toy was fun to play with.

“The toys tested were aimed at kids of all ages, from infants up, but no matter the age, the top picks were predominantly toys that inspire imagination, excitement and creative play,” said Maria Garofalo, senior director of toys and chief toy officer at Walmart Canada.

From Elmo, to Star Wars, to LEGO, there’s something for everyone in this year’s list. Click through to see what made the cut.
