YouTuber Alisha Marie goes shopping for bags from Chanel and other luxury designer brands

Alisha Marie is a YouTube star known for her lifestyle and fashion videos. She’s also a successful podcaster, and has recently started her own sustainable and inclusive fashion line, Parallel Apparel. Join Marie as she embarks on a designer bag shopping spree at What Goes Around Comes Around in Beverly Hills, during which she shares her love for Chanel and offers some valuable styling tips.

As Marie entered the designer bag sanctuary, she was clearly eager to start the shopping spree. “Let’s start, cause I’m kind of freaking out,” said the excited influencer.

Marie quickly became enamored by the numerous Chanel displays. “Chanel has become one of my favorite designers,” she said. “I think it’s the perfect vibe of my own style because I do love girly, but I also love a little bit of edge.”

The YouTuber immediately took a liking to a $4,250 Chanel Black Quilted Lambskin Vanity Bag.

“The quality of this is so unreal,” said Marie, who was particularly excited by the bag’s versatility.

“I even feel as if I was wearing heels with this outfit, it would be such an easy to really dress it up and dress up the whole look,” she said. “Or you can even just wear this with simple jeans, a black bodysuit, some flats, [or some] heels.”

Marie then caught a glimpse of an $8,800 Chanel Metallic Gold Quilted Lambskin Classic Double Flap Medium, and felt an instant connection. “Oh my god I love this gold one. Oh my god I love that,” said the star, nearly speechless.

“This would have a full unboxing moment on the YouTube channel. Let me tell you,” she admitted. Marie felt that the golden bag would be a winning accessory for multiple outfits, but would work especially well with an all-black outfit.

While on the hunt for a “pop of color” to match her neutral outfit, Marie noticed a $6,350 Chanel Blue Quilted Lambskin Classic Square Flap Mini, that the vlogger felt would be “so cute” as a crossbody bag.

The busy YouTuber loves a crossbody bag, because it allows her to use both of her hands. “I love having my hands free. I’m usually holding a coffee and my vlog camera, so hands-free is my fav,” said Marie. “We love a crossbody moment.”

The next stop on Marie’s Chanel tour was a Chanel Beige Quilted Lambskin Bowler Mini that Marie praised for its functionality and style. “This little Chanel is adorable, but you can tell it holds a lot,” said Marie while holding the $4,150 bag. “I’m also obsessed with [the] chain detailing for the zipper. Like that’s so unique.”

As the shopping spree came to a close, Marie selected an iconic $4,950 Chanel Black Lambskin Classic Double Flap Small as the lucky winner. “The second I saw this it really spoke to me. I feel like I have to get it,” said the designer. “This is an icon. Like, I just have to get it.”
