We know where to find our democracy sausages, but should you have any other queries about Saturday’s Federal Election, Twitter has launched a special edition DM chatbot to help voters out.

By heading to @TwitterAU and clicking the direct message (DM) button, the new chatbot, called #AusVotes2019, will help with queries like where you can vote and who your candidates are.

It will also act as “your official guide” by telling you what happens at the polling place, and if you’re stuck on whether information you’ve been given is correct, it can give you tips on how to check the legitimacy of sources.

Also hopping on the election bandwagon is Instagram, which launched new election-themed stickers to add to your Instagram stories.

The stickers will run through the entire election weekend and will be accompanied by a democracy-themed Story called “Aus Votes”, where Aussies can view voting day content.
