Yahoo Finance 'Yellowstone' Star Luke Grimes Made a Rare IG Video to Share News Ahead of Season 5
Yellowstone season 5 is on the horizon, and fans are keeping their eyes open for sneak peeks of the Dutton family’s next chapter. Riding on the wave of anticipation for the new episodes, Yellowstone cast member Luke Grimes surprised folks with a rare appearance to share a special message about the Western drama.
On August 17, the actor appeared to take a break from filming the Paramount Network series to announce an exciting Instagram milestone. “Hello, Yellowstone fans! Just wanted to give a quick thank you for 2 million followers,” he said in the snippet. “That’s amazing and it means so much to us that you guys love the show and we love you.”
The clip's caption drove home the message, as well. It read: "Thank you to our 2 million(!!!) fans for living up to the brand!"
Reacting to Luke's short but sweet message, Yellowstone fans were elated to hear the news. What’s more, many couldn’t get over the unique Instagram shared for the special occasion.

Apart from viewers celebrating, Luke’s fellow cast members joined with their own special words. “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Kelly Reilly wrote. “A rare Instagram appearance by Luke Grimes ladies and gents!!! 🥂✨👏,” Hassie Harrison added. “WOOT!” Wendy Moniz chimed in. “Woah! 👏👏👏👏👏👏,” Finn Little commented.
Social media aside, Luke and the entire Yellowstone crew have tried their best to keep season 5 details under wraps. But it sounds like Luke’s character, Kayce, will be experiencing some turbulence in his relationship with Kelsey Asbille’s Monica. Speaking to TV Insider, Kelsey teased another part of her character coming out.
“Each season is different,” she told the outlet. “You evolve and change over time, so I think season 5 Monica is going to be a different Monica, for sure.”
As for the upcoming baby, Kelsey has been cautious about revealing too much. “OK, this is the part that I’ve really got to be careful because I started reading the script, so I can’t say anything other than I’m looking forward to having my little baby bump," she spilled to the Showbiz CheatSheet.
