Good morning.

Markets: Wall Street hit record highs as Donald Trump's decision to cancel a plan to curb medicine prices buoyed the health sector. The Dow Jones finished above 27,000 points for the first time, rising 0.85 per cent for the day. S&P500 went up 0.23 per cent but the NASDAQ was flat, dropping 0.08 per cent.

Aussie dollar: The Australian dollar is buying 69.74 US cents at 8:05am AEST, same as yesterday.

Loneliness is impacting Australian workplaces. A startling 40 per cent of Australians are lonely at work, and this harms both their own wellbeing and business productivity. The report's author say Australia is falling behind countries like the UK, where a Minister for Loneliness has been appointed.
