ASX: Australian shares look likely get off to a good start on Monday on the back of gains in overseas markets and a positive economic data.

The Australian share market closed flat for the week on Friday after seven days of gains followed by two days of sell-offs left it up less than one point higher than where it had begun last Monday.

Wall Street’s main indexes rose on Friday after data showed U.S. employment in March accelerated from a 17-month low, easing concerns of a domestic slowdown, while hopes of a U.S.-China trade deal added to the sentiment.
