Yahoo Finance ASX set for bright start as electric vehicle subsidies ruled out

ASX: The Australian share market is set for a positive start after Wall Street rose overnight as investors looked for signs of further stimulus.
Wall Street: Payroll and unemployment data were positive and authorities are starting to loosen coronavirus restrictions. More here.
The Federal Government has ruled out subsidies for electric vehicles (EV). The Federal Government's future fuels strategy discussion paper was released today, and outlines five priority areas, like adequate EV charging and hydrogen refuelling stations. Businesses will get some incentives, though. More here.
Aussie wine exporters will have to turn away from China. That’s according to several investment houses, News.com.au reports.
If Google pulls Search from Australia, Aussies will likely turn to Bing, among other options. But one academic has highlighted a major problem with the search engine, as reported by The New Daily.
Fox News is being sued. Rupert Murdoch’s cavble network, as well as Trump lawyer Rudolph Giuliani, are in the firing line for defaming electronic voting systems makter Smartmatic by falsely accusing it of helping rig the US presidential election in BIden’s favour, the company is claiming.
