Would you pay $1 million to go to this Aussie music festival?

Fyre Festival was a massive disaster, and socialites who spent thousands to attend still haven’t recouped their funds from mastermind of the show, Billy McFarland.

But, a new festival hitting Aussie shores looks a little more promising.

DRIP World is a new hip-hop festival set to launch in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth from 31 August this year, and it’s got some pretty insane packages on offer, not unlike Fyre Fest.

The festival will run for 10 hours and will include a string of performances from some huge names in the urban music industry.

Fyre Fest offered attendees meet and greets, drinks packages and private jets for huge price-tags.

And DRIP has followed suit. But this time, it might not be a massive disaster.

Warning: it could get a little pricey

For a whopping $1 million, you could receive “the Drip experience”.

What’s in it?

You’ll get flown in to the festival on board a private jet for 50 people from any capital city in the world.

You’ll get a meet and greet with all the artists, a viewing platform, 25 bottles of spirits of your choice and 100 Dom Perignon bottles, according to GQ Australia.

So, where Fyre Fest offered some affluent attendees a trip on a private jet to the Bahamas, Drip offers a trip on a private jet to its Sydney venue: Parramatta.

Ah, I’m short just a few dollars for that one

If you can’t afford the Drip experience, regular tickets start at $169 for general admission and $330 for VIP passes.

But, that could be easily justified considering it lasts for 10 whole hours.
