Woman’s ‘heart literally melted’ when she saw what a fellow airplane passenger was reading

TikToker Re (@rere_88_) shared a sweet moment she recently caught on a flight. A woman seated near her on an airplane was using print-out instructions to learn how to photograph the sky.

How to start investing right now — no expensive broker or expertise required

In a viral video that has racked up more than 2 million views, Re shared how she caught a woman sitting near her on the airplane diligently studying several printed sheets of paper to try to learn how to take better photographs of the sky.

The video begins with a close-up shot of a tray table on an airplane. An empty plastic container sits on the tray, and beside it sits a stack of loose-leaf papers. Though the papers are too far away to read, they appear to have instructional text and diagrams on them.

This Brooklyn home office gets a California-inspired makeover with just $1,000:

Then the camera zooms out to show an older woman sitting in the airplane seat in front of the tray table. The woman is holding up a camera and looking out the airplane window.

“My heart literally melted when I saw this on my flight home yesterday,” Re writes in a caption. “She was teaching herself to use a camera to take pictures of the sky.”

In the next shot, the woman has temporarily put her camera away and is flipping through the stack of paper. She appears to be reading different sections to learn more about the features of her camera.

“She printed out everything too,” Re writes.

The video ends with a shot of the woman, still reading up on how to use her camera.

“My heart is so full,” Re writes.

“This is so precious!”

TikTokers couldn’t get enough of the sweet video.

“People (elders) who put the effort into learning electronics/technology as it continues to change are a different breed and I love them,” one TikToker commented.

“This is so precious!” wrote another TikToker.

“I am crying. Grandmas are the best ever,” another viewer chimed in.

Hopefully the woman got some truly out-of-this-world photos of the sky!
