Woman allegedly catches boyfriend cheating thanks to prescient TikTok filter: 'You can see it in his eyes'

A TikToker was messing around on her phone with some filters when one of them allegedly helped her discover her boyfriend was cheating.

About 10 months ago, user Sophie Nicole, aka @shutupsophie, used the Magic 8 Ball lens on Snapchat and asked: Is Mason cheating on me? (At the time, Mason was her boyfriend.) “You better believe it!” the Magic 8 Ball reported back.

Of course, Mason’s jaw dropped when he saw the Magic 8 Ball’s response, and he denied the accusation, saying, “I’m not cheating on you!” However, Sophie later learned that that was a lie, she claimed.

“He was [cheating],” she said in a recent stitched follow-up video, in which she is sporting a new hair color, a nose piercing and a completely different look.

In the comments, many people suggested that Mason looked shocked because he appeared to be caught red-handed.

“You can see it in his eyes,” one user noted.

“The fact that he had a shocked face before the answer even came up just shows,” another added.

“[He looks] scared,” a third wrote.

How did Sophie end up catching Mason? In a follow-up video, she claimed that she saw some incriminating messages from the other girl while she was on her ex’s phone to keep their Snapchat streaks alive. She said she was prompted to look at the messages after one of her friends alleged that Mason had sex with the girl.

“She had no clue we were dating when they hooked up because he lied to her and told her he was single,” she claimed in the comments. “She’s not at fault, he is.”

Moral of the story? If you even have to ask a Snapchat filter whether your boyfriend is cheating, you probably already know the answer.
