Walmart is set to launch a first-of-its-kind shopping experience on TikTok Friday night, enabling viewers to purchase products directly through the video-sharing app.

The livestream event, aptly titled the “Holiday Shop-Along Spectacular,” will go live this Friday, Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. E.T. on Walmart’s TikTok’s page.

The hour-long variety show will feature creator Michael Le, one of TikTok’s most-followed users, as well as up-and-coming stars like beauty guru Whitney Madueke and style influencer Zahra, as they walk us through their favorite Walmart finds in their own iconic ways.

Viewers can expect to see some hosts showing off their gear with full-blown closet tours, while other hosts may opt for a living room runway show or a fashion-forward dance-off.

And, as featured Walmart items are displayed during the livestream, pins will pop up on-screen that viewers can click to add items directly to their shopping cart without ever having to leave the platform.

“We’re excited that we have the opportunity to be at the forefront of this innovation in a shoppable livestream – a first on TikTok in the U.S.,” William White, Walmart’s U.S Chief Marketing Officer, said in a press release. “It gives us a new way to engage with users and reach potential new customers while bringing our own brand of fun – with the help of fashion-loving TikTok creators – to the platform.”
