Yahoo Finance Less than A DAY to nab Virgin’s $69 tickets
Grab a friend and jetset to popular holiday destinations for just $69 with Virgin’s flash sale.
The airline has brought back its popular $69 domestic flight fares in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
But you’ll only be able to nab them at the cheap price if you’re travelling with at least one other person.
The $69 price tag will get you from Sydney to Ballina Byron, Brisbane, Coffs Harbour or Gold Coast each way.
And if you’re based in Melbourne, you can get to Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston or Newcastle for the fare.
The travel period begins from the beginning of May to 22 or 23 June.
The $69 fares represent a drop of $12-$20 on your round trip, according to Finder, since Virgin’s sales have been benchmarked between $75 and $79 one way.
But if you want that cheap getaway, you’d better act fast; the sale ends midnight tonight (15 February) AEDT, unless sold out prior.

According to the sales fares’ terms and conditions, you’ll be permitted checked baggage on these flights.
But changes and cancellations may require you to pay additional fees.
