McDonald’s customers stunned by alleged behind-the-scenes cooking video: ‘Never again’
Few fast food items have more fanfare around them than the McDonald’s McRib sandwich.
Now, a viral TikTok claims to show how the item is made. The video, posted by an alleged McDonald’s employee, has drawn all kinds of reactions online.

The behind-the-scenes clip, shared by a user named @thatonedepressedginger, shows frozen slabs being tossed on a table. In the video, it appears as though the “ribs” in the McRib, come stuck together.
“Nasty,” @thatonedepressedginger captioned their video.
The video seemed to surprise many TikTok users, some of whom said the pre-cooked McRib looked like “styrofoam.”
“Just tried it. Never again,” one user wrote.
“What do you expect it’s cheap as hell,” another added.

Others, meanwhile said they were unbothered by the video.
“Did they expect them to use real ribs? They’re expensive,” one user wrote.
The clip arrives as the McDonald’s McRib has made its biggest return in years.
The fan-favorite sandwich, which debuted in 1982, is back in stores nationwide for the first time since 2012, according to the Associated Press. Since its initial run, the McRib has had several stints as a limited-edition menu item.
In recent months, TikTok users have been spilling all kinds of alleged secrets about fast food items. Videos have claimed to show the process behind Chick-fil-A’s lemonade, Taco Bell’s refried beans and more.
