This wild TikTok hack claims you can make a whole cookie cake out of just eggs, M&Ms and a box of mix

There’s a new cookie cake hack taking over the internet, and some users can’t believe it’s real.

The recipe uses just three ingredients — M&Ms, eggs and a box of store-bought cake mix. Somehow, that’s supposed to turn into a full-on, super delicious cookie cake.

No shade, but it's time to stop mooching off your parents' Amazon Prime — here's why

The recipe has been popping up all over TikTok, but it got a major boost thanks to popular creator Dan Shaba (@danshaba), who tested it in a now-viral clip.

In Shaba’s video, the combination of eggs and M&Ms somehow transformed the regular cake mix into a perfect, fluffy cookie cake. It almost seemed too good to be true.

So, we had to try the hack ourselves. To do that, In The Know producer Poppy Shen grabbed a cake pan and a big bag of M&Ms and got to work.

How to try TikTok’s three-ingredient cookie cake hack

To start, use a fork to mix two eggs into a bowl full of M&Ms (about the amount in a larger personal-sized bag). Beat until combined.

Next, pour in the cake mix. The standard white mix is best here, but you can really use any flavor you want.

Combine everything and transfer it to a small cake pan. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Once it’s preheated, let the cake bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it hardens.

And that’s it! This hack is absurdly easy, and as Poppy found out, it’s about as delicious as any cookie cake can get. She highly recommended this recipe, which turned out moist, sweet and surprisingly photogenic.
