As the long-awaited celebration began on the field, the congratulations started rolling in on Twitter. From Vin Scully to LeBron James, the sports world shared in the Dodgers’ joy.
Here’s a sampling of the reaction.
'55, '59, '63, '65, '81, '88, and now 2020.
What a year. What a season. What a team.

Baseball’s greatest wordsmith also prepared a video urging Dodgers fans to celebrate responsibly at home. This message comes after Los Angeles city officials announced their belief that gatherings to celebrate the Lakers’ recent NBA championship led to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

The four-time NBA champion was among the Dodgers’ biggest cheerleaders during the postseason. While we’re not sure how fans in Cleveland will react to that, we know James has big respect for Mookie Betts and Clayton Kershaw, who finally got his championship moment.
