Look and feel like a mermaid in Beach Riot’s glitter bikini that's now over 60% off

When you look good, you feel good. And you’ll feel really good wearing Beach Riot’s glitter ombré bikini on the sand or in the pool this summer. The top-selling style hardly ever goes on sale, but for a limited time, it’s currently 67% off on Free People’s website.

The set is part of Beach Riot’s Shine Collection, a line of swimwear crafted with glitter fabric. The Grace Bikini Top also has a tie-front design, so it’s totally adjustable. And the matching Claire Bikini Bottoms offer a high-rise cheeky fit and feature an adjustable side-tie waistband. They both come in five ombré, mermaid-esque colors, including pink, yellow/orange, chili, gold, blue and teal/lime.

The top regularly retails for $88, while the bottoms typically cost $84. But right now, both are marked down to $29.95 each on Free People. Plus, the bohemian retailer offers free shipping and free returns.

Some reviewers say that the swimsuit runs slightly small, so you may want to consider sizing up. Of course, it is adjustable, so if you decide you don’t like the extra fabric, you can always tighten it up. (Editor’s note: I have this set, and I think it fits pretty true to size.)

Another note is that the glittery fabric is textured, so it’s a little rough to touch on the outside. However, in person, that makes it look more expensive and not at all like a bodybuilding competition suit. And on the inside, the lining is super soft.

If you prefer a little more coverage or support, Beach Riot also makes a few other glitter swimsuit styles. You can find them all on its website. Free People also has two more of the glitter swim styles on sale in a blue/purple ombré color for $29.95 each, but sizes are limited.
