All Prince fans, rejoice! The new Urban Decay x Prince capsule collection is finally here!
The limited-edition capsule collection launched with the brand’s “Living Loud in Color” campaign, a tribute to Prince that “celebrates taking up space and being all you want to be and feel, regardless of what society says,” according to a press release.
When you think of artists who are unapologetically themselves, Prince should be at the top of your list. His flamboyant outfits, out-of-this-world music and boisterous makeup looks literally set the precedent for generations of music fans.
If you didn’t know, the Prince Estate specifically works to present Prince’s life and work to further his legacy. People were extremely excited to learn the estate was part of the Urban Decay x Prince collection, which includes eyeshadow palettes, kajal eye pencils and liquid highlighters.
“I know that the people who know him, the people who don’t know him, the people who love him, that’s also something that they want. They want to know that the people who are in charge of keeping his legacy alive are doing it with a gracious mind and heart. So that’s really how I felt when I saw the palette. He’d be really happy,” Damaris Lewis, Prince’s muse, said of the collection.

URBAN DECAY x PRINCE U Got the Look Eyeshadow Palette, $55
This is an eyeshadow palette inspired by legendary songs and looks worn by Prince. It has both neutrals and metallics included, ranging from a pearly cream to a sunset-gold metallic shade.
URBAN DECAY x PRINCE Let’s Go Crazy Eyeshadow Palette, $55
The Let’s Go Crazy palette features matte, pearl and shimmery chrome-finished eyeshadows.
URBAN DECAY x PRINCE Kajal Eye Pencil, $25
Available in black or white, these liners are inspired by Prince’s iconic, signature bold eyeliner. They have a creamy formula for smooth application.
URBAN DECAY x PRINCE Liquid Highlighter, $32
This glittery liquid highlight has an ultra-lightweight formula that blends seamlessly to illuminate skin. It contains shea butter, so it’s extremely nourishing for the skin as well.
URBAN DECAY x PRINCE All Nighter Powder, $34
This is a waterproof, translucent powder that mattifies makeup and controls oil for up to 11 hours.
