Uber CFO stepping down, no replacement announced

Uber CFO Brent Callinicos is leaving his post, according to a memo from the company's chief, the Wall Street Journal reported.

"Almost two years ago, I brought on one of the great financial operators in Silicon Valley as our CFO," Uber CEO Travis Kalanick wrote in a letter to investors, the Journal reported. "Brent has done a wonderful job here at Uber but has decided that it is time for his next journey, one where his wife and daughter take the front seat."

In his note, Kalanick wrote that no replacement had been named for Callinicos, who would stay on with the company as an advisor, the WSJ reported.
