Trivia Time: Test your knowledge of the MLB draft
The MLB draft is almost here. It’ll be a little bit different this time around — for obvious reasons — but hey, it’s still a little bit of baseball to look forward to.
Before we get to the selections on Wednesday and Thursday, there are a few things you need to know: The draft has been shortened to five rounds. The draft was supposed to happen in Omaha this year, but instead it will be a virtual.
It’s definitely the most unique MLB draft we’ve ever seen, but how much do you know about the others? In this week’s installment of Trivia Time, we dig into draft factoids — from the first pick ever to famous athletes from other sports that were chosen by MLB teams.
Well, how did you do?
12-for-12: You’re a No. 1 overall pick, baby!
9-11: The scouts say you have a high upside.
6-8: You’re a mid-round pick, but you may have promise.
5 or fewer: You’ve got a long ways to go to reach The Show.
