January transfer window - LIVE updates!

The transfer deadline is looming and we finally got one of the biggest deals of the window so far confirmed yesterday as Martin Odegaard joined Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid for the remainder of the season.

The Gunners have been among the busiest of the Premier League clubs, mainly in the outgoings department, as Sokratis, Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasniac have all departed, while goalkeeper Mat Ryan arrived from Brighton.

Manchester United signed Amad Diallo from Atalanta early in the window but all the talk today is about in-form midfielder Paul Pogba, who says he will hold talks over his future at the end of the season.

West Ham sold Sebastian Haller at the start of the window and are yet to bring in a direct replacement, but reports today suggest they may try to make do without aa back-up striker if they succeed in landing Jesse Lingard on loan from Old Trafford.

Elsewhere, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho said he would be very surprised if there was any business involving his club over the next few days, despite continued speculation over Dele Alli’s future amid interest from PSG. Should the Englishman depart, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Florian Nehaus is reportedly a target as a replacement.

Wayne Rooney has seemingly also confirmed that teenage Derby winger Kaide Gordon is on his way to Liverpool and Celtic have reportedly agreed to sign Preston defender Ben Davies, while Ben Pearson appears to be en route to Bournemouth.
