January transfer window - LIVE!

The transfer window has yet to really get going, with few major arrivals in the Premier League as the restrictions and financial implications of the Covid pandemic make doing business tough.

As ever, Manchester United have been linked with a number of players, today’s main one being French U21 international Romain Faivre, while Jadon Sancho has also been talking about the speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford.

Much of Arsenal’s January window appears to revolve around outgoings as Mikel Arteta looks to clear out his squad. Sead Kolasinac has already departed, but the futures of several other players remain up in the air, none more so than that of Mesut Ozil. However, today there is speculation about a man Arteta will certainly want to keep, with reports that Napoli are still keen on Kieran Tierney.

West Ham’s search for a striker is likely to be a prominent story over the next few weeks, with Sebastian Haller’s departure for Ajax having left Michail Antonio as the Hammers’ only recognised centre-forward.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are set to allow young defender Fikayo Tomori to leave on loan this month, but reports today suggest they’re in no mood to give Aston Villa a bargain in their attempt to make Ross Barkley’s move permanent.
