On June 23, IHS Markit reported results for the second quarter ended May 31. Revenue for the quarter was $1.027 billion, while net income was $71 million. Earnings per share for the quarter totaled 18 cents and cash flow from operations totaled $278 million.

Gray Television director bought 4,000 shares

On June 9, Gray Television announced the promotions of Lori Bruffett and Scott Sanders to general manager positions. Bruffett was promoted to general manager of KBTX, the local CBS affiliate for the eastern portion of the market. The promotion was effective June 1. Sanders was promoted to general manager of NBC affiliate WMBF, effective June 29. For the past 12 years, he Sanders served as director of sales for Gray's WIS.

Ryman Hospitality Properties president and chief financial officer bought 3,000 shares

Ryman Hospitality Properties is an American hospitality real estate investment trust that focuses on convention center resorts and country music entertainment experiences. The company's core holdings include a network of five of the top 10 largest non-gaming convention center hotels in the United States. The company is also a component of the Russell 2000. The company has a market capitalization of $1.84 billion; as of July 3, it traded at $33.55.

On May 22, Ryman Hospitality Properties announced the termination of its agreement with Stratus Properties Inc. to purchase the Block 21 mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. As a result of the termination of the transaction, the company will forfeit its nonrefundable deposit of $15 million provided to Stratus with the purchase agreement, made in December of 2019.
