Toddler is ‘relieved’ when mom finally figures out what she’s saying

A toddler was ecstatic when her mom was able to decipher her baby babble.

TikTok mom @thatshaygirl shared a conversation with her little girl. When children are still developing their language skills, all they can do is try to imitate the sounds they from adults. This toddler just had one request for her mama, but she couldn’t quite find the right words.

The exchange between the mother and daughter went something like this:

Mom: What do you want?

Toddler: A [incoherent].

Mom: A what?

Toddler: A [incoherent].

Mom: A what?

Toddler: A [incoherent].

Mom: A strawberry?

Toddler: Yes!

Mom: A strawberry?

Toddler: Yes!

“She was so relieved when I finally figured out what she was saying!” the mom wrote in the caption.

The adorable video racked up 14.6 million views and 3.3 million likes on TikTok.

“Her face when you finally understood her,” someone said.

“She effectively communicated and she knows it. I love this for her!” a TikToker added.

“Oh my gosh, this is the most precious video! I nodded my head in excitement with her,” a person commented.

“She was so patient in repeating over and over again,” another wrote.

“This is so cute I bet kids get so frustrated when we can’t understand what they’re saying,” a user said.
