Toddler climbs on railing at baseball game in alarming TikTok

This TikToker recorded the terrifying moment a toddler crawled onto the railing at a baseball game, prompting a call to security!

TikToker @radassbadass was at a baseball game recently when they noticed an alarming sight! A toddler clambered up onto the railing above the game and began to stand up while his parents, nearby, were slow to react. Though security was called and the parents rectified the situation, the TikToker’s video had viewers alarmed at the dangerous situation the toddler was in!

The video begins with a shot of a baseball game. In the distance, players stand on the field, waiting for the batter to hit the ball. Meanwhile, in the foreground, a family, consisting of a toddler and his parents, sits on a row of chairs overlooking the game. In front of the chairs, there is a narrow table with a low railing. Past the railing, there appears to be a long drop to the ground below.

While the mom and dad chat, the toddler stands up on his chair and leans on the table. He lifts a foot and begins to stand up. For a few moments, the toddler simply rocks back and forth on his foot, but remains standing on the chair. Both parents ignore the toddler and continue talking to each other.

Then, the toddler gets onto the table, holding onto the railing with one hand, as he crouches. At this point, the dad takes note and reaches towards the toddler. Meanwhile, his mom grabs the back of his shirt, pulling him down into a lower crouch. However, neither parent removes the toddler from the table.

After a moment, the toddler grasps his mom by the hand, and steps down off of the table, himself. The video ends as the toddler gets back onto his chair.

In a follow-up video, the TikToker shared the moment security was called to check on the toddler. In the video, the toddler is once again attempting to crawl onto the table. This time, a security guard comes over and speaks to the parents. The mom takes the toddler in her arms and pulls him onto her lap.

TikTokers were alarmed that the toddler’s parents allowed him to crawl on the railing!

“These parents should be asked to move immediately. I’m sure everybody around them is keeping an eye on that poor baby instead of watching the game,” one viewer wrote.

“Some parents are clueless,” wrote another TikToker.

“Notice how she hurried up and grabbed him once she saw the usher? She knows she’s doing a bad job,” commented another viewer.
