TikTokers not willing to do ‘whatever it takes’ to keep relationship going

TikTokers are at a crossroads in their relationships and are choosing to walk away and not do what needs to be done to save it.

The newest trend uses a sound from “Couples Court With The Cutlers,” in which Judge Keith Cutler asks a man, “Do you love her?” Although the man acknowledges he does, the defendant then said no when Judge Keith asked him, “Will you do whatever it takes to stay with her?”

In the actual scene, the man jokingly says no. However, TikTokers have cut that part out and are sticking to saying no to doing “whatever it takes.”

The original video, posted by @bqeva, has over 3.5 million views and 550,000 thousand likes. The sound also have over 5,000 videos attached to it.

That feeling has manifested itself in several ways. Some people are using the sound to show that if it were between their partner and their celebrity crush, then the more famous person would get their love.

“I would propose to him right there and then,” said @whosdarely.

Aside from leaving their current partner for a celebrity, users are going against their feelings when it comes to making the first move.

“Its so scary and i dont wanna seem desperate,” said @_yabbers.

“B suffering in silence,” replied @inluvw.tiller.

Finally, some people confess their love but show that it’s not unconditional.

“Y’all js be dating the hair,” said @.9hunnidds.

Several TikTokers have shown that love may not be enough to keep their relationship together. Even though the man in the original video was willing to do what it took, TikTokers don’t feel the same.
