A girlfriend shared the unique girl names her boyfriend won’t let her use — and the video is causing a stir on TikTok.
Kenna (@kenna.olund) gained over 4.8 million views and 22,000 comments when she uploaded the controversial video to her account.
We’ve seen names go viral on TikTok before — like the woman who traced her roots on Ancestry, only to discover a shocking secret about her family members’ names — but Kenna and her boyfriend’s name disagreement is inspiring quite a debate.

In the now-viral video, Kenna takes viewers through the 17 names her boyfriend has forbidden — as well as his reasons for disliking the names.
While some of the names were certainly unique — like Silver or Clover — other names weren’t all that unfamiliar — such as Flora and Sylvie.
“All of these are elite. Drop the boy,” one user wrote in the comments.
“Quite a few of this names were literally popular in the 18th and 20th centuries,” another user commented.
“I love these videos that have vintage names in them like Birdie, Clover, Flora, Seraphina,” wrote another user.
However, not everyone loved Kenna’s name choices.
“Thank god he’s there to help pick a name,” one user wrote.
“Yeah I’m with him on most of these. Although I do like Clementine!” another user commented.
“Let’s hear his ideas lol because these are all so cute!” requested one user — a wish Kenna granted when she posted a follow-up video featuring the names they both agree upon.

“I think he just wants a boy LMAO,” another user wrote.

Hopefully Kenna and her boyfriend will one day come up with names they can both agree on (whether or not TikTokers approve of their choices).
