Woman allegedly catches disturbing dressing room encounter on camera: ‘Be safe out there’

A young woman captured the disturbing moment a person allegedly tried to film her while she was getting undressed in a public dressing room.

Macey Leap, who goes by @maceyl7 on TikTok, is now trying to warn others to be careful, lest they find themselves in the same situation.

In her brief video, Leap showed a pair of men’s shoes on the floor of the changing room beside her. If you look closely, you can see a phone balanced between the man’s feet. Thankfully, she noticed all of this before she started undressing.

It only took a few seconds for the unsettling scene to unfold. Leap set the footage to the sound of Capone’s “Oh No,” which was recently part of a TikTok trend in which users were sharing videos of their humorous “fails.” This is a bit more than your average “fail,” though.

“Be safe out there,” she captioned the video of the dressing room TikTok. Comments were turned off for the post.

Since Leap shared the video on Nov. 3, it has been viewed 16.9 million times and has received more than 2.7 million likes.

A follow-up post suggests that the original video was briefly removed from TikTok for “illegal activities and regulated goods.” It’s back now, though.

She did not reveal where the incident took place and has not provided any updates on the situation. In The Know reached out for comment.
