TikTok user sets internet ablaze with video of her family’s ‘unsanitary’ dinner: ‘A waste of food’

Social media is fully freaking out over this “nacho table” TikTok.

The video, which caused a massive debate over whether the idea was “genius” or “unsanitary,” was posted by a user named Stefanie. In her clip, the TikToker shows her family’s evening meal — which is being held over a massive “nacho table.”

“We always make a nacho table during family vacation,” Stefanie captioned her video.

The “nacho table” is seemingly exactly like a normal plate of nachos, just spread out to massive proportions. To prepare the meal, Stefanie and her family lay a large sheet of aluminum foil over their kitchen table.

Then, they coat the table with chips, a heaping bowl of ground beef and plenty of other toppings. Finally, they eat as a family while standing around the table.

The idea, which is apparently a sort of family tradition, divided TikTok users. Many found the concept “a waste of food,” or just thought it was gross.

“Sorry, but no,” one user wrote.

“The amount of unsanitary child hands would cause me to leave the entire house,” another added.

“The people leaning over the food while they eat and using the other food as a plate would make me too paranoid to eat it,” another added.

Others, meanwhile, were incredibly excited by the meal. Several praised the “nacho table,” saying they couldn’t wait to try it themselves.

“I’m so mad that my family doesn’t do this,” one wrote.

“This is the best thing I’ve ever seen,” another added.
