Another TikTok couple is calling it quits. Chris Olsen and Ian Paget have split after two years
Paget has 2.5 million followers and Olsen 6.2 million followers. The couple also shared a YouTube channel with 343,000 subscribers called Chris & Ian. In a 2019 vlog, they revealed they had entered an official relationship after two months of dating. And just four months ago the pair were celebrating their two-year anniversary. But fans suspected a breakup when Olsen and Paget made separate red carpet appearances and stopped posting each other on social media.

“So Chris Olsen and Ian Paget have obviously split and I need them to tell me so I can deal with it,” @Catherinemoran tweeted just seven days before the boyfriends made a public statement.

“When you break up but are still best friends,” Olsen captioned a TikTok video on Jan. 7, where he and Paget bobbed their heads to Drilla.
“Ugh. The first TikTok couple I care about,” someone commented.
“I am not OK with this!” another wrote.
“I’m done with 2022 already,” a user lamented.
“The past couple of weeks have been difficult for Chris and me, but ultimately, he’s my best friend and always will be,” Paget told E! News. “While we’re not boyfriends anymore, we’re excited to explore our new relationship moving forward. We thank everyone for their continued love and support, in a way, this is just the beginning.”
In his own statement to E! News Olsen said, “I’ll always have so much love for Ian. We’ve been through an incredible amount together, and we’ll always be connected in a beautiful way. While we’re going to take some time apart and grow as individuals — this isn’t the end of our time together, but a shift. I can’t wait to keep cheering him on.”
