According to new analysis from Fresh Student Living which used a TikTok money calculator, some of the most-followed stars on the platform could become billionaires as soon as 2033.

At the top of the list is sixteen-year-old Charli D’Amelio, the most-followed person on TikTok at more than 110 million followers, who earns £46,532 or $83,602.41 per post. If she did just five sponsored posts a year, she would become a billionaire by age 28.

These figures don’t even take into account other revenue streams outside from TikTok.

Other than ad revenue, TikTokers usually make most of their money through sponsored posts, product placement, and merchandise, according to LifeHacker. This will vary according to how many followers they have and the engagement they get by way of comments and likes.

Influencer Marketing Hub, which created the TikTok money calculator, has advice for people wanting to grow their own accounts.

“Successful TikTokers make videos that they know their audience will love. It is much easier to devote your attention to a particular group of people, rather than just making random content,” the guide states.
