Don't blink: Flights to Europe for $325

Tickets to Greece have been spotted on Skyscanner for just $650 return.

Flying with low-cost carrier Scoot from Melbourne you’ll get to Athens and back for only $650 – or $654 from Sydney or $691 from the Gold Coast.

The Perth fare is inexplicably more expensive, at $698.

Since Scoot is a low-cost airline, checked baggage is not included, and neither is entertainment or in-flight meals, which can be added when you book.

However, you’ll need to be prepared for the long 8-hour layover periods at Singapore Changi Airport – getting to Athens itself will take you 27 hours.

But even adding all the bells and whistles will still see you save hundred of dollars than if you had booked full-service tickets to Athens any other time.

For example, return tickets to Athens with full-service carrier Singapore Airlines cost more than $1,200, according to Finder.

You’ll nab tickets at the lowest prices if you fly out in August as they start creeping back up again beyond that.

But because the tickets aren’t part of a particular sale, there’s no telling how long these tickets will stay at this price.
