This $1.5 million island home could be yours for $2
One lucky Aussie will win a Bribie Island home, a BMW and Mercedes Benz for just $2.
Although it might sound too good to be true, one lucky Aussie will win a mortgage-free home, a BMW, a Mercedes Benz and more for just $2.
The $2.5 million home package is the latest prize being raffled by Mater Lotteries, which is part of the Mater Foundation Queensland.
The main part of the prize is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom property on Bribie Island in Queensland’s Moreton Bay region. The property backs onto the island’s golf course and country club and is just a short trip from the beach.

With the house itself valued at $1.5 million, Mater Lotteries said the prize could offer the lucky winner a “life of freedom”.
The furnished home features a pool, alfresco dining areas, a modern kitchen and butler’s pantry, soaring ceilings and an enviable view of the golf course.
As well as the house, the winner will also receive a BMW 330i M Sport valued at $99,800, a Mercedes Benz AMG GLC valued around $193,500, a jet ski and trailer, a golf cart and $500,000 cashable gold bullion.
But you’ll need to get in quick. The lottery will close at 7:55pm AEST on Monday, February 20. The winner will then be drawn at 11:00am AEST on Thursday, February 23.
Lottery tickets start at just $2 and can be purchased through the Mater Lotteries website. Ticket purchases go towards funding Mater Research, Mater Health and Mater Education and supporting medical and clinical research.
“When you purchase a ticket to win, you are not only giving yourself the chance to change your life, you are also helping to raise much-needed funds for ground-breaking research, exceptional care and education at Mater,” Mater Lotteries said.
