With Christmas fast approaching, the pressure is on to find the perfect gift for your Secret Santa or significant other.

But Yahoo Finance has found a royal present to save the day: a Highland Title.

For as little as $60, you can purchase a plot of land in Scotland via Highland Titles. The plot comes with one huge perk: you can become a Lord or Lady of Glencoe.

In fine print, this is what the site says: ‘you obtain a personal right to a souvenir plot of land and our permission to use our registered trademarks, Lord and Lady of Glencoe’.

So what does the gift actually entail?

You’ll get a gift pack with a personalised certificate, a presentation folder, an information booklet and a plot ID card - and, of course, a brand new title.

Your plot of land forms a part of either the Glencoe Wood or Mountain View reserve, and the $60 goes towards the conservation of wilderness in Scotland.

Or, like Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-partner and father of her three children, Lord Scott Disick, you could purchase a title online.

For a little extra cash, UK-based company Elite Titles offers legal English titles for upwards of $278.

The site says many customers have enjoyed free hotel and airline upgrades and preferential treatment as a result of the upgrade.
