When it comes to perfume, you probably think of a spray bottle or maybe even a roll-on option, but have you ever heard of a perfume bracelet?
If you’ve been scrolling on TikTok recently, you may have spotted a black and white bracelet that comes out of a container similar to dental floss that people can’t stop talking about. Well, that would be the Diptyque Perfumed Bracelet.
Available in four scents, with a fifth launching this summer, the Diptyque Perfumed Bracelet is one of the coolest ways to wear your perfume. Basically, when you purchase the $90 bracelet, you get a little gold clasp and chic black dispenser, and then it’s up to you to DIY the rest.

To begin your bracelet, open the container, pull out as much thread as you’d like to wrap around your wrist and then close the dispenser when you are ready to cut the thread. After that, tie two little knots at each end, add the gold clasp to one end, wrap it around your wrist and close the bracelet by adding the other end to the clasp. You can see this process step-by-step in TikTok user @richladyproblems’ video that has already racked in over 400k likes.
The brand suggests that “for a more intense diffusion of the fragrance, wearers are recommended to wrap the bracelet twice around the wrist. To conserve its olfactory qualities, do not place the bracelet underwater and renew it each week without changing the clasp.” Each container holds about 30 bracelets-worth of fragranced thread.
And while this bracelet may seem like a gimmick to some, TIkTok users are obsessed — this is definitely a treat-yourself kind of purchase. Plus, it was an Allure Best of Beauty Winner in 2020! TikTok user @erinduganjurchak said during her unboxing video, “I have never exited TikTok so fast in my life to purchase something as when I saw this last week.”
