ANZ - ANZ BANKING GROUP - up 20 cents, or 0.62 per cent, at $32.42

One of Australia's largest banks, ANZ, will provide free finance advice to women with a superannuation balance of less than $50,000 in what it says is an effort to close the gender gap in retirement savings.

BPT - BEACH ENERGY - up 0.50 cents, or 0.55 per cent, at 91.5 cents

Oil producer Beach Energy has increased fourth quarter production by eight per cent and boosted sales thanks to increased demand.

MDC - MEDLAB CLINICAL LIMITED - up 1.00 cent, or 5.40 per cent, at 19.5 cents

Shares in MedLab Clinical Limited have surged after the nutritional pharmaceutical company announced it had won NSW government approval to conduct medicinal cannabis research.

NAB - NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK - up 52.00 cents, or 1.54 per cent, at $34.38

National Australia Bank has fully sold down its remaining stake in former US subsidiary Great Western Bancorp.

PRG - PROGRAMMED MAINTENANCE SERVICES - down 1.00 cents, or 0.41 per cent, at $2.44

Programmed Maintenance Services boss Chris Sutherland says growth in the company's property and infrastructure business is offsetting weakness in its resources division.

TLS - TELSTRA - up 3.50 cents, or 0.55 per cent, at $6.425
