AMC - AMCOR - up 15 cents, or 1.4 per cent, at $10.74

Global packaging firm Amcor says the time is right to split its Australasia and Packaging Distribution (AAPD) business from Amcor's other operations.

ANZ - down 37 cents, or 1.2 per cent, at $29.39

CBA - down $1.09, or 1.5 per cent, at $73.12

NAB - down 50 cents, or 1.6 per cent, at $30.73

WBC - down two cents, or 0.1 per cent, at $30.87

Finance Minister Penny Wong has declined to say whether or not the government plans to impose a deposit levy on banks, despite a fall in share market values.
