AYS - AMAYSIM - up four cents, or 10.3 per cent, to 43 cents

Australia's largest mobile virtual network operator is buying privately owned competitor Jeenee Mobile for $7.8 million, and will move its 41,700 recurring post-paid mobile subscribers to its own systems and retire the brand over the next six months.

OPT - OPTHEA - up 43 cents, or 15.8 per cent, to $3.16

The biotech devoted to fighting eye diseases has raised $50 million in an institutional placement at $2.65 per share.

NOX - NOXOPHARM - up 4.5 cents, or 13.9 per cent, to 37 cents

A phase 1b drug trial found its anti-cancer suppository drug Veyonda significantly reduced pain in 10 of 15 men with late-stage prostate cancer.

Noxopharm executive chairman and chief executive Graham Kelly said the drug "has delivered a very meaningful anti-cancer effect in a high proportion of men, halting progression of their disease and providing an average 80 per cent reduction in their pain levels, including some men becoming pain-free".

IMF - IMF BENTHAM - up 34 cents, or 9.7 per cent, to $3.84

Some 6,800 claimants who sued the Queensland government, Seqwater and Sunwater over the state's devastating 2011 floods have won a class action funded by IMF Bentham.

IMF says it expects to earn income in the range of $100 million to $130 million from funding Maurice Blackburn's class action lawsuit, pending appeals.

SZL - SEZZLE - up 12 cents, or five cents, to $2.52

The buy now, pay later company has secured a $US100 million debt funding facility, more than tripling its current capacity.

AJM - ALTURA MINING - down 0.1 cents, or 1.7 per cent, to 5.9 cents
