KZR - KALAMAZOO RESOURCES - up 21 cents, or 60.9 per cent, to 55.5 cents

Kalamazoo Resources soared after the Victorian junior gold explorer received a $8 million investment from Canada's Novo Resources and billionaire gold bull Eric Sprott.

RSG - RESOLUTE MINING - up one cent, or 0.9 per cent, to $1.18

The goldminer is selling its Ravenswood Gold Mine in Queensland to a fund managed by equity group EMR Capital and Singapore-listed Golden Energy.

The deal is for $100 million up front and up to $200 million more.

CIM - CIMIC GROUP - up $1.71, or 5.2 per cent, to $34.70

ELD - ELDERS - up 0.39, or 5.7 per cent, to $7.18

After an disappointing 2018 and 2019 for Cimic and Elders, they have both had a good start to 2020.

Elders shares are up 11 per cent so far this year while Cimic shares are up 4.7 per cent.

On Wednesday Elders had the third-biggest gains of all ASX200 components - behind goldminers St Barbara and Evolution - while Cimic was fourth.
