APT - AFTERPAY - up $1.35, or 4.6 per cent, to $30.63

Buy now, pay later company Sezzle announced that California regulators had denied it a lending licence, but it hopes to find a resolution.

Afterpay said it had received a similar licence on November 12.

KPT - KANGAROO ISLAND PLANTATION TIMBERS - down 27 cents, or 12 per cent, to $1.98

A second bushfire in two weeks on Kangaroo Island has scorched another 971 hectares of timberland - more than 7.0 per of the company's portfolio.

MSB - MESOBLAST - down three cents, or 1.4 per cent, to $2.05

The Melbourne biotech says it has filed clinical trial data on its graft versus host disease drug, remestemcel-l, with the US Food and Drug Administration.

The final module of data will be filed this month, and then Mesoblast will request an expedited review of the drug in the hopes of launching it in the US this year.

SDV - SCIDEV - up 7.5 cents, or 12 per cent, to 70 cents

The solids-liquid separation company has agreed to acquire Highland Fluid Technology for $8.5 million in SciDev shares.

The private company supplies bespoke services for fluid recycling and water reuse in the onshore oil and gas sector.
