Stocks mixed as Elon Musk shares details of 'excruciating' Tesla turmoil

Stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) are mostly lower Friday morning as chipmakers slide, leading losses for technology companies. Energy companies are rising with oil prices. Tesla is falling further on reports of a growing government investigation into the company.

The utility (XLU) sector is most in the green, and the communications services (XLC) sector is most in the red. Alan Valdes, director of floor operations at Silverbear Capital, joins us live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to talk markets.
