With the end of the Federal Reserve's quantitative easing in sight, the outlook for financial stocks appears bright, Karen Finerman of Metropolitan Capital Advisors said Wednesday.

The central bank announced that it would cease its $15 billion-per-month bond-buying program, sending the major stock indices lower.

On CNBC's " Fast Money ," Finerman said that bank shares were increasingly attractive.

"When JPMorgan (JPM) comes out and talks about, 'We will make more money in a rising-rate environment,' I'm inclined to believe them," she said, adding that her top picks also includedBank of America (BAC) and Citigroup (NYSE:C).

OptionMonster co-founder Pete Najarian said that the end of QE provided a clear signal to him.

"My first reaction was: It's got to be about the financials (CME:Chicago Mercantile Exchange: .SPSY)," he said. "I think financials is the best trade off of this."

Dan Nathan of RiskReversal.com took a different tack.

"I think if you want to stay in the game here, I think it makes sense to buy protection or think about some kind of low-vol plays to kind of help hedge your book," he said, adding that he was long DIA (NYSE Arca: DIA) puts in December. "I actually do not like large-cap U.S. multinationals."

Meanwhile, Guy Adami of Private Advisor Group was making a bet on the consumer with Costco, whose stock hit an all-time high of $132 per share.

"As well as they're doing now, in a rising-rate environment they might do even better," he said. "My play is Costco (COST)."
