Starbucks customer reveals how to get 'free refills' while shopping at Target: ‘How come I’ve never heard of this?’

A TikToker is sparking debate over the Starbucks refill policy — thanks to her virallife hack” video.

The video, shared by @bestoftarget, explains how Target customers can get free refills at Starbucks while shopping inside the chain. However, the video inadvertently revealed how customers can get free refills at any Starbucks anywhere.

In her clip, @bestoftarget walks up to a Starbucks inside a Target and asks the barista about free refills.

“Hey, I wanna know,” she says. “Do you get free refills with your Starbucks if you’re shopping at Target?”

The barista proceeds to explain that, yes, Target customers do get free refills while shopping in the store, although there are a few caveats. The refills don’t apply to specialty drinks — only hot coffees, iced coffees and teas.

Additionally, the Starbucks refill policy only applies to Rewards members, according to the chain’s site. The good news? It actually works at any Starbucks store — not just Target. Many TikTok users took to the comments to share that fact.

Others, meanwhile, were shocked to learn the refill policy existed anywhere.

“How come I’ve never heard of this?” one user asked.

“Moving to Target,” another joked.
