Yahoo Finance SPOTTED: Nike, Adidas, Puma shoes are 50% off at Australian online store
Big brand sneakers including Nike, Adidas and Puma have been spotted at half-price on an Australian online store.
Online fashion retailer The Iconic is currently having a “up to 50% sale” across its clothing, shoes and accessories catalogue.
But the items that are actually 50% off have been spotted easily in the shoe section.
For example, Yahoo Finance has seen men’s Air Max 1 sneakers selling for $90, down from the usual $180:
Adidas Swift Run, which are a unisex design, was down to $75 from the usual $150:
There were plenty of women’s sneakers also at half-price, with Puma Suede Heart Street 2 seen on sale for $60, down from $120:
The Iconic, which was founded in 2011, has never turned a profit. But it is expected to at least break even for the 2018 calendar year.
In 2017, it posted a 41 percent lift in sales to hit $267.8 million. The startup is aiming to hit $1 billion in sales in three years and on the way poached former Rebel Sport boss Erica Berchtold as chief executive in October.
