Sources: Trae Young leaves sports agency Octagon, signs with Klutch Sports
Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, one of the bright young faces of the NBA, has severed ties with sports agency Octagon quickly made the jump to join Klutch Sports, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Young recently notified Octagon of his decision, sources said.
He didn’t waste much time finding a new agent. Young announced on Friday that he signed with Klutch Sports, the agency. founded by Rich Paul — who was long a favorite to land him, according to sources.

Omar Wilkes, who has been Young’s agent since the guard entered the league in 2018 and shares a strong bond with the All-Star, recently departed Octagon to accept a position with Klutch Sports as the head of basketball operations.
Paul will turn his focus to broader company obligations as the CEO.
Young, 21, had a breakout sophomore season in the NBA, averaging 29.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 9.3 assists to earn his first All-Star nod.
