Source: Demarcus Robinson off COVID/reserve list, cleared to practice for Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs received some good news on Friday, as receiver Demarcus Robinson has been cleared to practice, a source tells Yahoo Sports.

Along with center Daniel Kilgore, Robinson was placed on the NFL’s COVID/reserve list earlier this week after being deemed a close contact to someone who has tested positive for COVID, which was reportedly a barber the team brought in at the beginning of the week to cut approximately 20 players’ hair.

Kilgore, who had his hair cut a day later, is eligible to practice on Saturday provided he continues to test negative, a source told Yahoo Sports.

Robinson, 26, ranks second among Chiefs receivers in offensive snaps with 711 and has caught 45 passes for 466 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Kilgore, 33, has logged 236 offensive snaps this season but his versatility and experience could be critical with the Chiefs down their starting two tackles, Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz.

NFL Network had the Robinson news first.
